About Denholm Yam
Denholm Yam traces its origins to 1996 when Yam Al Kaleej was founded as a fabrication contractor focussed on the Oil & Gas industry. Based in Mussafah Industrial area, the business was successful but soon became constrained by lack of capital and the size of the facilities.
When Denholm Oilfield Services made an approach to take a stake in Yam Al Kaleej with a view to growing the business, it made instant sense. The acquisition was achieved through a new company Denholm Yam, owned 80% by Denholm and 20% by the local partners.
This bought the trade and assets of Yam Al Kaleej and took on the lease for, and then developed, the current waterside facility in Abu Dhabi's Industrial City II (ICAD II). As you can see on the that page, this is a world class facility allowing Denholm Yam to meet the requirements for major global Oil & Gas Projects.
